A LITTLE ABOUT ME

How I Got Here

With a background in finance and law, I focus on providing a well-rounded approach to every transaction. During my career thus far, I have spent time at the area’s largest law firm working on deals varying in size, transaction type, and structuring. Real estate deals I have worked on include retail, industrial, multi-family, outdoor advertising, hospitality, agriculture, and more. In total, I have worked on transactions with nearly $1 billion in aggregate value.

In my free time, I love the outdoors and spending time with my beautiful wife, Whitney, and daughter, JoLeigh. We love everything outdoors including hiking, golfing, skiing, and more. Building a family business and pursuing 616 Companies with Whitney is a dream come true.

As a registered broker in the State of South Dakota, I study local market conditions and focus on maintaining a robust network of owners, buyers, and sellers. By obtaining my broker’s license I am equipped to advise clients on real estate business decisions and navigate every transaction.

As a licensed attorney I am equipped to help individuals and organizations with a range of legal services. My practice to date primarily consists of a general real estate and business practice. In every deal, I utilize my legal knowledge to better advocate for my clients from start to finish.

University of St. Thomas

At the University of St. Thomas, I complemented my business experience and focused on obtaining the skills found in successful lawyers. My coursework at the University of St. Thomas included courses in Real Estate Transactions, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Federal Income Tax, Business Tax, Business Planning, Security Regulations, and more. My time at St. Thomas equipped me with the skills to become a well-rounded advisor for real estate and business transactions.

B.S.B.A. WITH A MAJOR IN FINANCE

University of Arizona

While playing on the Division I Golf Team at the University of Arizona, I studied finance at the school’s Eller College of Management. My coursework included accounting, international finance, real estate finance, investments, corporate finance, and more. My undergraduate degree provided me with a base understanding of business and finance, both skills that I utilize to this day.
